It takes a community

Casper Family Connections (CFC) is a non-profit agency founded to provide children who are unable to live with one or both parents, a safe and conflict-free environment in which they may have a healthy contact with the noncustodial family. We strive to provide services that treat the family as a whole and are customized to their specific family needs. Our goal is to promote reunification by strengthening parent-child attachment and reducing the potentially damaging effects of separation.

Donating to a supervised visitation center is a powerful way to support vulnerable children and families during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Here’s why someone should consider donating:

1. Protects Children

CFC provides a safe, neutral environment for children to maintain contact with a parent when there are safety concerns. Your donation helps ensure that children are not exposed to potential harm or trauma during visits.

2. Supports Family Stability

We play a critical role in helping families rebuild trust and move toward healthier relationships. Donating supports services like parenting education, counseling referrals, and monitored exchanges—all aimed at promoting family healing.

3. Provides Essential Resources

CFC, like many other nonprofits, is underfunded. Donations help cover:

  • Staff training and salaries for skilled supervisors
  • Child-friendly spaces, toys, books, and supplies
  • Security systems and safety measures
  • Access to interpreters or trauma-informed support

4. Reduces Risk of Violence or Retaliation

In high-conflict custody situations or cases involving abuse, a supervised setting prevents direct contact between parents, reducing the risk of confrontation or manipulation. Donations help ensure that professional protocols are maintained.

5. Invests in Community Safety and Justice

Visitation centers, such as Casper Family Connections, are part of a broader network of services that protect children, uphold court orders, and reduce the strain on police, courts, and social services. Donations help maintain this crucial link in the child welfare system.

6. Gives Children Normalcy in Crisis

Even in difficult circumstances, children want and need a connection with both parents. Casper Family Connections makes those moments safe, structured, and positive—an important step in a child’s emotional development and resilience.
